About Me

David Wohlgemuth

M.A. HSG in Law & Economics.

Attorney-at Law.

Arbitration and Litigation Practitioner.

My practice area covers corporate and commercial law advisory and representation of parties before state courts and arbitral tribunals.

I act as an arbitrator in international commercial arbitration proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and serve as independent administrative secretary in multiple international arbitration cases.

Before opening my own law practice in 2023, I worked in the arbitration and dispute resolution team of a major business law firm in Zurich. Later, I focused on corporate, commercial and inheritance legal advisory in a law firm in St. Gallen while remaining an administrative secretary on several arbitration cases.

Since 2022 I hold a teaching assignment at the University of Zurich, where I coach for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. There, I have an opportunity to share my expertise and spark the passion of young and motivated students towards international arbitration.

I hold a B.A. HSG and M.A. HSG in Law and Economics of the University of St. Gallen and was able to spend an exchange semester at INSPER in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2020, I was admitted to the bar in Switzerland. I speak German and English and have basic knowledge of Serbian.
